Radiatric Inc.
Radiatric Inc. is dedicated to developing and commercializing innovative technologies to improve outcomes for patients with blood stream infections that can lead to sepsis, and septic shock. Antimicrobial resistance is a serious global health threat. Our flagship medical device, our RAD-01 system, is an extracorporeal non-antibiotic device designed to treat blood stream infections by targeting and killing pathogens even multi drug-resistant organisms. The company's focus is on non-pharmacological methods of killing pathogens, aiming to reduce the mortality and long-term effects associated with sepsis.

What We Do
Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a threat to global health and it puts the warfighter at very high risk for a poor outcome from infected wounds. Bacteria and other pathogens are becoming more resistant to antimicrobial drugs. Radiatric has developed a first of its kind medical device that utilizes a unique mechanism of action to treat blood stream infections even ones caused by multi- drug resistant organisms. Wounds can lead to bloodstream infections that can progress to sepsis and septic shock with high mortality rates. The RAD-01 extracorporeal device utilizes an engineered spectrum of light energy to target a number of essential molecules common to bacteria and other pathogens resulting in the death of the pathogen with little risk of harm human cells and importantly little risk of resistance development over time. Our technology is designed to be built in several form factors. It can be a built as a rugged portable device to be used in austere environments by a field medic or it can be a standalone device for clinic use. Additionally, it can be built to be utilized with a dialysis machine, ECMO, or heart bypass device to treat or prevent an infection.
