Peptilogics U.S.-based clinical-stage biotechnology company developing first-in-class engineered peptide therapeutics for the treatment and prevention of medical device–related infections (MDRI) and other serious wound infections, where bacterial biofilms defeat conventional antibiotics and the immune system, and no anti-biofilm therapy is approved. Our lead asset, zaloganan (PLG0206), is a rationally engineered peptide that rapidly eradicates biofilm-associated and planktonic bacteria across a broad spectrum of drug-resistant pathogens. Following positive Phase 1b results, zaloganan has advanced to a pivotal Phase 2/3 trial (RETAIN) for periprosthetic joint infection and holds FDA Orphan Drug, Fast Track, and QIDP designations. A controlled-release zaloganan program in non-clinical development extends the franchise into broad-spectrum infection prevention, with trauma/fracture related infection prevention as the initial indication. Peptilogics is building a treatment-and-prevention franchise across the MDRI landscape, and beyond.
