Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies
FIAS is an independent, non-profit interdisciplinary research institute and foundation in Frankfurt focusing on theoretical and computational methods for complex problems in physics, life sciences, neuroscience and computer science. The institute develops and applies multiscale simulations, high-performance computing and machine-learning methods; hosts graduate training programs, public lecture series and scientific events; participates in national data-infrastructure consortia; and collaborates with universities, research centres and external funders.
