The Institute for Human & Machine Cognition (IHMC) is a non-profit research institute within the Florida University System focused on advancing human capabilities through interdisciplinary research. IHMC develops technologies and systems in artificial intelligence, robotics, human-machine teaming, cognitive systems, distributed computing, human performance monitoring, and cyber-physical security, with major collaborations in defense, healthcare, aerospace, and education.
