Cascade Regional Blood Services is a nonprofit community resource dedicated to providing safe and reliable blood supply to hospitals and patients in Pierce and South King Counties since 1946. It has a rich history of community partnership, innovation in blood collection and processing, and a commitment to saving lives through blood donation and therapeutic services. The organization is transitioning its operations to Bloodworks Northwest in 2024, continuing its legacy of community service and lifesaving contributions.

Red blood cells (and whole blood)
Collected whole blood units that are processed and stored as red blood cell units for transfusion to surgical, trauma and anemic patients.
Plasma (including Fresh Frozen Plasma)
Plasma units separated from whole blood or collected by apheresis, frozen within specified timeframes and used to treat bleeding disorders and major burns.
Platelets
