How to Sponsor a Project
Interested in working with MTEC? If you have a problem or requirement, a good place to start is to contact Dr. Lauren Palestrini, MTEC’s Chief Scientific Officer or Kathy Zolman, MTEC’s Chief of Consortium Operations about use of the MTEC OTA.
At a high level, here is how the process works:
Step 1: Define or refine your requirement
Confirm your problem fits within the scope of the prototype OTA by working with MTEC to fill out an OTA approval form.
Step 2: Work with MTEC and the Army Contracting Office to release a Request for Project Proposal (RPP)
MTEC will work with you to write the pre-announcement and a Request for Project Proposal (Solicitation). We will schedule a proposer’s conference usually within 2 weeks of release of the RPP. This is a chance for performers to ask clarifying questions directly to the government sponsor in an anonymous setting.
