What We Do

A team training system that supports clinical diagnosis, critical decision-making, and interprofessional teamwork in emergency medicine, allowing learners to train in-person or remotely using their own devices.

A remote training system that enables multiple learners to collaboratively assess and treat virtual patients in real-time, using their own PCs or VR headsets.

A developer kit that provides tools for creating interoperable medical simulation solutions, supporting various applications including physical, VR, AR, and mixed reality.

Technical services for customization and integration of medical simulation modules with third-party products, enhancing training capabilities.

Funded Projects

Synthetic Training Environment for Multimodal Medical Training (STEM3T)

The U.S. military has a need for a medical synthetic training environment that combines live, virtual, constructive and gaming training modalities into a single integrated training environment. In response, Vcom3D is developing medical simulation and training systems based on plug-and-play architectures with interoperable physical and virtual patients, and treatment modules. This content, using research-based behavioral and physiological models, engages the learner in immersive game play and assesses user performance.
