MediWales is the independent life science network and representative body for Wales, supporting the advancement of human life science in Wales. Founded in 1992, it creates business opportunities, supports global trade development, and engages with government to support the sector. It supports over 180 members across various industries and academia, fostering collaboration through events, publications, and special interest groups. The organization actively participates in and hosts a variety of events, conferences, and webinars to promote innovation, collaboration, and sector development. Recent activities include hosting webinars on biofilms in health and disease, digital transformation in hospitals, and antimicrobial resistance, as well as participating in international conferences and awards dinners.
