HTCR-Services
HTCR-Services GmbH, founded in 2002 as a spin-off from the University of Regensburg, specializes in providing human tissue-based products and services for medical research and drug development across Europe. With a network of hospitals and surgeons, they offer a broad range of diseased or normal tissues, human primary cells, and biospecimens to accelerate disease marker discovery, molecular diagnostics, target validation, and drug development. Their mission is to facilitate translational medicine by supplying high-quality human biospecimens and primary cells, supporting pre-clinical R&D, biobanking, and research with organoids and biomarkers.

Products
Fresh and cryopreserved primary human hepatocytes
Freshly-isolated or cryopreserved primary human hepatocytes prepared for research use in studies of drug metabolism, transport and hepatotoxicity.
Non-parenchymal liver cells and other primary cell types
Isolated primary non-parenchymal liver cells (stellate, Kupffer, sinusoidal endothelial) and other primary cells such as proximal tubule kidney cells and PBMCs.
Processed tissue products (FFPE, cryoblocks, sections)
Preserved tissue products including FFPE blocks, cryoblocks, shock-frozen or RNAlater-preserved samples and prepared sections suitable for histology and molecular assays.
Extracted nucleic acids and proteins from human samples
Prepared molecular extracts such as RNA, cDNA and protein isolates derived from tissue or cell samples for downstream analyses.
Human Hepatocytes For Research
Primary human hepatocytes purified with optimized methods that result in high cell viability and purity, available for overnight shipping for researchers in the EU or Switzerland.
Human tissue procurement and cell isolation services
Collection of matching fresh human tissues and blood from surgical operations for pre-clinical R&D programs, alongside the isolation of functional cell populations from biospecimens.
