Glia


Glia is a medical solidarity organization dedicated to empowering low-resource communities to build sustainable, locally-driven healthcare projects. With a core value of open source philosophy, Glia promotes sharing and collaboration to make quality healthcare accessible to all. The organization partners with communities in Palestine, Ukraine, Ethiopia, Gaza, Egypt, and Ukraine to provide urgent medical support, develop medical devices, and foster resilience and self-determination. Glia's work includes medical device innovation, strategic grant submissions, impactful funding campaigns, medical solidarity initiatives, and open-source medical device development, including 3D-printed tourniquets, stethoscopes, otoscopes, dialysis machines, and other medical equipment.
