Chicago Biomedical Consortium
A multi-institutional nonprofit consortium that funds and coordinates cross-university biomedical research and translational programs in the Chicagoland region. Core activities include milestone-driven seed and matching funding for translational and basic research, entrepreneurship training, rapid-response public-health awards, facilitation and funding support for shared core facilities and instrumentation, organization of symposia/courses/workshops, and advisory review processes that connect academic teams with industry and investor expertise to advance early-stage discoveries toward commercialization.
