AFPE is committed to supporting pharmaceutical education in the United States by awarding fellowships and grants to students, recognizing talented students and faculty, encouraging advanced degrees in pharmaceutical sciences, and supporting educational and research initiatives. Established in 1942, AFPE is the oldest and largest pharmacy foundation in the nation, aiming to advance and support pharmaceutical sciences education and research to improve healthcare and patient outcomes.
