We are pleased to announce the upcoming Platelet and Platelet-like Products State of Technology Meeting, hosted by the Department of Defense (DoD) Combat Casualty Care Research Program, the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) Radiation/Nuclear Medical Countermeasures Program, and the Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC).
This meeting will take place at NIH’s Natcher Conference Center in Bethesda, Maryland, from February 4-6, 2025.
The meeting will focus on advancing platelet and platelet-like products to meet critical military and civilian needs in combat and disaster scenarios, while providing insights into government funding opportunities and fostering discussions on emerging technologies such as extracellular vesicles, synthetic nanoparticles, and clinical trial updates.
