Our partnership with MATTER is part of a larger MTEC strategy to develop relationships with Accelerators throughout the country that complement and expand services we offer to our membership. With support originally from the City of Chicago, State of Illinois and area businesses, MATTER opened in February 2015 with 30 startup companies and a few programs, and has since grown to include hundreds of startup and growth stage life science companies from around the world, dozens of corporate partners and a diverse array of programs supporting healthcare entrepreneurship and innovation.
MATTER’s Flex program launched in October 2023. Though essentially a new program, it is based on the history of experience from its first 8 years in local accelerator support. It is being offered for free to MTEC members through CYE 2024. MATTER continues to add content daily on Flex Member portal as they mature and learn. As you explore the Flex offering outlined below, please consider this early stage status. We also welcome any feedback on your thoughts and impressions.
