MTEC is a public-private partnership that is authorized to serve by the Department of Defense to promote the development and delivery of innovative medical technologies to improve the health and safety of military personnel, veterans, and civilians.

Who We Are
The Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium is a 501(c)(3) biomedical technology consortium that is internationally-dispersed, collaborating with multiple government agencies under a 10-year renewable Other Transaction Agreement with the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command. The consortium focuses on the development of medical solutions that protect, treat, and optimize the health and performance of U.S. military personnel and civilians.

Ellen Embrey, MTEC Chair
In my inaugural year as Chair of the MTEC Board, I am both honored to serve and impressed by my fellow MTEC Board members, MTEC leadership and the MTEC community. 2022 proved to be yet another growth year for the organization. We achieved a membership milestone by exceeding 600 members. We have distributed over $700M in funding since inception. We have deepened relations with all member stakeholder sets – sponsors, collaborators, industry, academic institutions, foundations and investors. We are actively building out our investor network in order to address member gap funding needs. We are collaborating with federal health agencies and enhancing relations with the Defense Health Agency (DHA) as the US Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC) consolidates defense health R&D investments and service.
2022 presented new opportunities for MTEC leadership, including sponsorship of military medical fellowships in collaboration with the American Psychiatric Association Foundation (APAF), the Milken Institute Health Summit, the American Brain Coalition, and the Orthopedic Research and Education Foundation, to name a few. These efforts have been years in the making. MTEC’s dedication to serving you, sponsors, members and stakeholders, is the foundation on which these opportunities are built.
Special thanks to our professional staff who continue to be high performing, especially with communications and outreach to all of you. We hosted a record number of webinars, events, scouting and pitch competitions. Pierre Noel is Director of the Mayo Clinic’s Center for Military Medicine, which coordinates military-related practice, education, and research programs across the Mayo Clinic and provides medical services and education to active-duty service members and retirees. He is currently a physician in the Mayo Clinic’s Department of Internal Medicine Division of Hematology and Oncology, a Senior Visiting Fellow at the Brent Scowcroft Center on International Security, a Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, and a primary consultant in protective medicine to the White House Medical Unit.
Since 2012, Dr. Noel has served as Director of Special Operations Tactical Medicine at the Mayo Clinic, a program specializing in combat trauma and critical care. In this role, he has trained more than 700 special operations personnel in prolonged field care and tactical combat casualty care. Previously, Dr. Noel was Chief of Hematology and a Senior Clinician at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center, as well as a physician in military operations with the U.S. Air Force for more than 10 years, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Throughout his military and public service career, Dr. Noel has worked diligently to advance the health, safety, and effectiveness of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Dr. Ron Poropatich currently serves as the Director of the Center for Military Medicine Research (CMMR) and as a Professor of Medicine in the Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care Division at the University of Pittsburgh. Under Dr. Poropatich’s leadership, the CMMR has developed a large DoD medical research portfolio and established the University of Pittsburgh as a key collaborative research partner for the DoD. Since 2012, Dr. Poropatich has also acted as the Senior Advisor on Telemedicine for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, leveraging the use of virtual health solutions for this innovative leader in health care delivery.
With more than 30 years of clinical service in the military health care system, Dr. Poropatich understands deeply the importance of quality medical care for service members and veterans. Before retiring from the U.S. Army in August 2012 with the rank of Colonel, Dr. Poropatich served in many leadership positions at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center. Even in retirement, Dr. Poropatich continues to serve the Nation as a board member of the VA Research Foundation for the Veterans Affairs Pittsburgh Healthcare System.

Amy Salzhauer is a Founder and Managing Partner at Good Growth Capital, an early-stage venture fund based in Charleston, SC but investing across the country. Amy was previously the CEO of Ignition Ventures, where she and her team helped to transfer technologies ranging from chip-based fuel cells (Lilliputian Systems) and self-organizing networks (Ember Corporation) to black silicon (SiOnyx), selective brain cooling (Toev Medical), and the world’s most accurate scale (Bioscale) out of academic research labs.
Amy is an inventor who holds several patents and speaks and teaches internationally about entrepreneurship and leadership, has served on multiple boards, and has been featured on the covers of multiple business magazines. She currently serves on the Boards of Directors for Leuko Labs, the Roper St Francis Hospital Foundation, and Reading Partners of South Carolina.

With over 50 years of service in the healthcare industry, Mr. Soderberg currently is Managing Partner for Worthy Venture Resources LLC, which maintains active investments in, and serves on the boards of, several privately held medical device companies around the world. Further, since 2011 he has served as Chairman of the Board of Tactile Medical (NASDAQ: TCMD), a chronic disease management company. With his wife he also manages the Elsa and Peter Soderberg Charitable Foundation, which focuses on health initiatives for underserved women and children, and educational and economic empowering for the poor and underserved. Two of their catalytic philanthropy projects focus on affordable and adapted housing for wounded U.S. veterans.
Mr. Soderberg’s prior business experience includes 23 years at Johnson and Johnson, serving in the U.S. and overseas in a variety of operations, marketing, and management positions in four of J&J’s over the counter and professional products companies. From 1987 to 1993, he was President of Johnson & Johnson Health Management, a behavioral health company. From 1993-2006 he served as President and CEO at privately held Welch Allyn from 2000 onwards, preceded by service as Group Vice President and COO there. Welch Allyn was acknowledged by the DoD as a significant supplier/partner of patient monitoring systems during Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield. In 2006 Peter joined Hillenbrand Industries (NYSE: HI) and its largest subsidiary, Hill-Rom, as President & CEO of both entities. In 2008 he separated the medical technology company from Hillenbrand. He continued to serve as President and CEO of Hill-Rom (NYSE: HRC) until 2010, when he entered semi-retirement.
Mr. Soderberg received his degree in Engineering and Applied Sciences (Magna Cum Laude and Honors with Exceptional Distinction in Engineering) from Yale University in 1968. Peter and his wife Elsa, have four children and fourteen grandchildren. They reside in Boca Grande, Florida and, during the summer, in Skaneateles, NY.

Dr. Donaldson is President & CEO of Critical Innovations LLC, as well as a full Professor of Emergency Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Triple-boarded in emergency medicine, emergency medical services, and clinical informatics, Dr. Donaldson has been principal investigator on over $50 million dollars’ worth of funding, with a focus on research and development efforts bringing innovative emergency, critical, and trauma care technologies to market. He is the inventor of a host of patented medical technologies and the creator of WikEM, the world’s largest and most popular emergency medicine open-access reference resource. Dr. Donaldson has been featured as an expert on CNN, BBC, NPR, and other media outlets, and an invited speaker at over a hundred national and international conferences, including at Medical Design & Manufacturing, Department of Defense, and various think tanks. He has worked around the globe, frequently in areas of conflict and recent disaster, and been the lead architect of national emergency care plans in several countries. For five years in Iraq alone, he led the instruction of over ten-thousand surgeons, physicians, EMTs, nurses, and community members, while spearheading the development of pre-hospital and hospital-based emergency and trauma systems for the country, for which he received the Humanitarian Award from the California chapter of American College of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Donaldson has worked for close to two decades at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, one of Los Angeles’ main Level I trauma centers, serving previously as the Director of the Emergency Medicine Global Health Program and Global Health Fellowship. He is also the critically acclaimed author of The Lassa Ward, a memoir about international humanitarian work. Michael Brown is the Account Executive and Program Manager of Government Relations for Healthcare R&D at GE HealthCare Technology and Innovation Center formerly General Electric Research (GR). In this role Michael is responsible for developing and executing the strategy that outlines how GRC partners and collaborates with other organizations including academia, industry, government and NGO’s in the healthcare space. The intent of these partnerships is to create innovative technologies that address the current and future healthcare industry needs.
Prior to this role, Michael worked with GE HealthCare as the Enterprise General Manager of Sales, covering strategic academic and commercial accounts in the states of North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. Michael has also served as a Business Development Manager at General Electric Research (GR) where he helped to foster successful win-win research collaborations to secure R&D funding from the National Institutes of Health, the Department of Defense (DARPA, US Army, US Navy), BARDA and pharmaceutical companies.

Mike is a strategic business leader with 20 years of executive management, financial, operational and sales/marketing experience in the medical device industry. He is an owner and principal of AccelerMED LLC which provides commercial leadership to emerging medical device companies with novel products that enhance healthcare quality and efficiency. In addition, Mike is on the Board of Visura Technologies and is an advisor to the Band of Angels Life Sciences Special Interest Group.
Mike previously served as Vice President – Global Customer Experience for ZOLL Medical Corporation. ZOLL acquired Advanced Circulatory Systems, Inc. (ACSI) where Mike served as Chief Executive Officer. During his tenure at ACSI, he helped the company grow from the pre-revenue research and development stage to a viable commercial operation. Mr. Black also held positions as CFO and COO at ACSI. Prior to ACSI, Mr. Black spent time in financial and operational roles with early-stage technology companies. He started his career as a financial auditor and consultant for Deloitte.

He further reaches out to corporate, universities, associations, foundations, and funding partners to bring together a coherent network and means to identify and accelerate technologies that can make a difference in military medicine. His influence reaches far into the medical R&D domain to provide tools and service support for the organization, the consortium members, and the military’s benefit.

William Howell is a 35 year DoD retiree who executed senior SES level research project management operations for medical product development in all categories of products including biologics, drugs, and devices. He has worked with and is familiar with the business practices of all DoD medical R&D organizations and several Health and Human Services (HHS) organizations. He has worked closely with industry in conducting technology assessments, CRADA and contract negotiations, research project oversight, business practice interfaces, and funding methodologies. Mr. Howell is the President of MTEC.

As Chief of Strategy and Business Development, Shawn reviews our current capabilities, identifies strategic alignment to federal agencies and opportunities, and assists in the capture and execution of said opportunities. He conducts outreach to federal agencies, identifies those that meet strategic alignment and suggests to the President and Board his recommendations. He further uses his network built upon years in the industry to establish relationships that augment MTEC capabilities and provides greater support to government funding sponsors. His small business experience enhances MTEC educational, training, and support offerings to MTEC’s life and health science community and members.
Bio:
Shawn J. Green, PhD is a serial entrepreneur in the life and health sciences. Recently created a number of clinically-supported consumer health nutraceuticals targeting vascular health, including Berkeley Test, Berkeley Life, Vascanox, MyFitStrip. Previously, he served on the founder’s team as Sr. Vice President of R&D at EntreMed (NASDAQ: CASI), a biotechnology company focused on developing anti-angiogenesis strategies for the treatment of cancer with the advancement of thalidomide and thalidomide analogues, currently marketed by Bristol Myers Squibb for the treatment of Multiple Myeloma. Dr. Green also co-founded and served as VP of Research at Maxcyte (NASDQ: MXCT) a clinical-stage medical device company focused on cell-based therapeutics. In partnering with IBM Life Sciences John Wiley & Son, Fujitsu, and Itochu, he founded XML Labook, an online bioinformatics platform to integrate and share targeted data for research scientists. During his early career, Dr. Green served in the Medical Service Corp at Walter Reed and published the first series of papers on the regulation of nitric oxide and its role in innate immunity where he earned the Meritorious Service Medal for his work. He was awarded 20+ patents and published over 100 articles in such journals as, Science, Nature, Nature Medicine, Cancer Research, Journal of Immunology. He served on the editorial board for the American Society of Microbiology and as an editorial reviewer for several biomedical journals. Held academic appointments at Johns Hopkins, Howard, and Catholic and served as a board member for Virginia BIO and as an advisor to Triple Tree, an investment bank in healthcare. Shawn received his Ph.D. in Cellular Biology and MBA from Georgetown University.

Julia Martin is the Chief Financial Officer. She provides financial leadership, serves as liaison for financial reporting to federal agencies, external auditors and company stakeholders, and provides supervision and management of the day-to-day financial operations of SCRA and its affiliated organizations. She directs banking and credit activities, maintains appropriate capital structure to support the companys operations, ensures regulatory compliance and establishes appropriate internal controls for the businesses to manage and reduce risk.

Provides leadership of MTEC Development work, including oversight of stakeholder relations, foundation relations, industry partners, commercialization, and ventures programs. Building out the MTEC investor network to garner additional dollars and support for MTEC members and medical technologies being developed to advance MTEC’s military medical mission and impact.
Bio:
Jill Sorensen is a senior innovation manager with over 30 years of experience in technology development and commercialization, technology startup investment, intellectual asset portfolio management, fundraising, research and development project management, and oversight of investments in companies developing medical products including biologics, drugs, and devices. She has worked with MRDC and other sponsors in the military medical enterprise, as well as multiple federal agencies including Health and Human Services (HHS) and the life sciences investment community. Jill has worked closely with the for-profit and non-profit sectors in grant and contract management, advancing strategic initiatives, building future interests and coalitions working toward common goals, conducting technology and investment assessments, research project oversight, business practice interfaces, and funding methodologies. Ms. Sorensen is a registered patent attorney in the U.S. and former director of SCRA’s SC Launch, technology commercialization at Johns Hopkins University and the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Kathy Zolman's Bio

Ms. Zolman’s responsibilities as MTEC Chief of Consortium Operations include management of all functions within consortium operations to include OTA execution, membership management, solicitation management, contracting, finance, marketing, and information technology oversight. She has an active role in customer relationships with military funding sponsors and membership.
Bio:
Previously Ms. Zolman was Director of Program Operations for MTEC, where she was an integral part in the growth of the consortium to over 600 members and awarded over $700M of government funding. Ms. Zolman has been instrumental in the startup, business management, day-to-day management, and planning for several collaborative initiatives at Advanced Technology International. She has over 20 years of progressive management experience in program and project management, business development, market research, and financial management. Ms. Zolman earned her undergraduate degree in International Business and Management from Penn State University and holds Spanish Minor from the Universidad de Salamanca, Spain. She has a Masters of International Business Administration from the University of South Carolina.

Will lead all aspects of technology transfer and commercialization operations to ensure the sustainability of MTEC through revenue streams that include royalties from patents generated, venture and/or private equity investments, commercial test agreements and other income sources.
Bio:
Lauren Palestrini, Ph.D., is the Chief Science Officer at MTEC, where she serves as the lead technology officer within the medical product development activities, oversees the development of technology solutions that will meet industry commercialization targets, conducts initial technology assessments, and maintains adequate coverage of military clinical needs. Dr. Palestrini is also working on generating external funding streams through fundraising. Dr. Palestrini earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University, and a Doctoral Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Stony Brook University. Her graduate work focused on the development of a biodegradable, electrospun fiber mat for the topical delivery of a novel fibronectin-derived peptide for the limitation of burn injury progression. Until recently, she served as the Director of Research at the New Jersey Center for Biomaterials at Rutgers University where she managed a cross-disciplinary set of research projects in support of the Department of Defense-funded Armed Forces Institute of Regenerative Medicine (AFIRM) cooperative agreement within regenerative medicine. In addition, her prior experience includes process development at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, research and development at Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products, and human resources at Deutsche Bank.

Responsible for directing and overseeing all research, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activities for successfully achieving financial targets required by MTEC research projects from private resource mobilization.

Susan Raymond is a founding partner and Executive Vice President of Changing Our World, Inc., an international philanthropy management company. She is responsible for funding and grantmaking strategies for nonprofits, corporate foundations and private high net worth individuals, and has designed new philanthropic mechanisms for clients including Genesis Health System, Health Research, Inc., and the Global Fund for HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. She holds her Ph.D. in Economics, Policy and Public Health from the Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Raymond is the Director of Strategic Funding for MTEC.

Richard Satcher is a Senior Business Manager with RTI International. He has 20 years of broad experience in strategic planning, business development, technology assessment and commercialization, and project management. He works closely with clients to create partnerships for developing and commercializing health technologies. He has coordinated partnerships for the National Institute of Standards and Technologys Manufacturing Extension Partnership, the Department of Justices Forensic Center of Excellence, NASA, and the Gates Foundation. Ms. Satcher is the Director of Commercialization for MTEC. His roles and responsibilities are to coordinate initial market, technology, and funding assessments.

Oversees financial and accounting management for the MTEC entity, and review and approve payment of consortium manager’s invoices. This position must be filled by a person not under the employment of ATI to assure no conflict of interest concerns arising from having one of the consortium manager’s own employees in a position to approve invoices that will be paid to the consortium manager for its financial, contracting, or other services rendered to the MTEC entity.
Bio:
Bill Evans serves as a business consultant and corporate director, following a successful and varied business career. Evans started his professional career in 1971 with Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co., (now KPMG) in Atlanta, GA. He was elected a partner in 1980 and led the firm’s regional technology practice and was one of the founders of the Advanced Technology Development Center at the Georgia Institute of Technology. In 1985, Evans joined Electromagnetic Sciences, Inc. as a Senior Vice President and Director, and helped expand the company’s business from being a $30 million government contractor to a $100 million diversified business three years later. Evans was recruited to Management Sciences of America, Inc. (MSA) in late 1988 to assist with the turnaround of this $250 million independent software vendor. Under his direction, the company returned to profitability and was sold to Dun and Bradstreet (D&B) one year later. In 1992, Evans was recruited by H&R Block, Inc., in Kansas City, Missouri, as Senior Vice President of Corporate Operations. He was actively involved in the extension of Block’s business interests into financial services and the addition of premium tax services and personal tax software to its tax business. Evans joined ProSource, Inc., a privately funded food service distributor based in Miami, Florida, as Chief Financial Officer in 1995. Evans assisted Onex, the Canadian based private equity investor, in completing a roll-up strategy creating a $4 billion company that went public in 1996 and was sold to another foodservice distributor in 1998. During 1998 and 1999, Evans was Chief Financial Officer of Productivity Point International, a roll-up of technology training firms funded by Knowledge Universe, a firm founded by Mike Milken and Larry Ellison. During this formation period, Evans integrated twenty different acquisitions and created a $100 million business. Evans was asked to be President of the troubled electrical wire business unit of Superior Essex, based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, in 1999. He led the restructuring of this $700 million business by selling and consolidating manufacturing and distribution locations, streamlining the product line and sales process, and significantly reducing working capital requirements. Evans joined Witness Systems, a small public software company based in Roswell, GA, in 2002 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Witness Systems grew steadily and profitably over the next 5 years and was sold in 2007 for approximately $1.1 billion.
Evans is currently on the board of Saia, a $1 billion LTL truckload career, where is serves as the Chair of the Audit Committee. He has previously served on the boards of Electromagnetic Sciences, LXE, Spherion, Secureworks, Tatum, ValueVision and WolverineTube. Since 2007, he has also served as an advisor to Technology Operators Fund and a consultant to a variety of businesses, assisting with business restructuring, strategic planning, financing, and other activities.
A native of Chicago, Evans received his BS and MS in Accounting (with Honors) from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. He currently lives in Johns Creek, GA with his wife, Lacy, and has two daughters and five grandchildren. Evans is a board member of the Imlay Foundation and is active in many local organizations such as The Atlanta Rotary, Special Olympics of Georgia, and Duluth First United Methodist Church.

Rebecca is a Sr. Contracts Manager for Advanced Technology International (ATI). Her responsibilities include negotiating and overseeing prime contracts and subcontracts in ATI’s Medical and Information Management Division. Many of these contracts are complex, involving various government agencies, industries, and universities.
Rebecca has been with ATI over six years. She received a Master’s of Business Administration degree from Charleston Southern University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Clemson University. She is a Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM).

She specializes in technical, regulatory and programmatic guidance and can navigate the landscape of strategic opportunities and partnerships, offering a deep knowledge in biotech and health security product development and USG mission requirements. Her background is in chemical engineering (BS, University of Maryland) and biomedical engineering (MS, Johns Hopkins). Following a federal career that spanned three decades, Donna established DSBio Consulting to serve the biomedical entrepreneurial communities of developers, start-ups, and innovators.

Ms. Golden has led feasibility studies, worked with and recruited Board members, developed cultivation and solicitation strategies for major gift prospects, written philanthropic grant requests, and developed cases for support as a Senior Managing Director at Changing Our World, a philanthropic services firm headquartered in New York City. She has over twenty years of fundraising experience.

Chuck Hutti's Bio
Bio:
Dr. Chuck Hutti, PhD, is the Biomedical Research Associate at MTEC, where he supports the MTEC research operations by working with Military Sponsors on solicitations and conducting outreach to universities and small businesses with relevant solutions. Dr. Hutti earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Texas Woman’s University and Doctoral Degree in Cellular, Developmental, and Molecular Biology from the University of Rochester. His graduate work focused on elucidating the role of lysosomes in prion aggregate toxicity and degradation. Prior to his role with MTEC, he worked as a Research Associate at the University of Texas Southwestern focusing on identifying key mechanisms behind breast and ovarian cancer metastasis.

Seth Tomblyn's Bio
Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide technical assessments of funded projects that include analysis of the merit, progress of the Performer as compared to their funded statement of work, determination of the current maturity of the technology, insight into the technology’s competitive landscape, assessment of the Performer’s regulatory strategy, and insight into the technology’s roadmap to transition to the Warfighter and/or the commercial marketplace. The goal is to make recommendations for deeper due diligence by the commercialization team and/or positioning for additional interactions with other funders by the Chief Development Officer.
Bio:
Seth Tomblyn, Ph.D., is a Research Project Analyst at MTEC where he provides technical assessments of MTEC’s funded portfolio. Dr. Tomblyn earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology from Fairmont State University and a Doctoral Degree in Microbiology and Molecular Medicine from Clemson University. His graduate work focused on protein therapies for the treatment of breast cancer. He performed his post-doctoral research at Case Western University Department of Bioengineering where his work focused on tissue engineering applications. Dr. Tomblyn has worked for several small biotechnology companies completing pre-clinical safety and efficacy for medical devices, therapeutics, and cell-based therapies.

Previously Mr. Kellinger was an Account Representative for a supply and logistics organization. He specifically managed a multi-million dollar portfolio that supported a diverse array of DoD and private sector accounts. Evan has a professional background in Project Management, Capture Management and Business Development. Evan has extensive training in PMI’s project management methodologies and processes. Brandi Abbott is a Project Manager for the Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium and has been with ATI since July of 2021. She provides direct support to the Director and Program Manager for MTEC. Elizabeth has been with ATI since 2008. She has worked in various capacities for the Naval Technologies Division prior to joining the Accounting and Finance Department in 2021, including program administration for the Center for Naval Management, a Navy ManTech Center of Excellence. She has enjoyed being involved in numerous programs and initiatives at ATI over the years. Prior to ATI, she worked as a research assistant and budgeting technician for Charleston County School District. She is a native to the Charleston area.

Kim Edelman's Bio
Roles & Responsibilities:
As a Program Administrator, Kim provides full support to the MTEC Consortium to ultimately help achieve great success for both the internal program leadership as well as external members alike. Some of her duties include assisting the Program and Project Managers in executing and accomplishing program goals. She is responsible for facilitating processes for new and existing MTEC Consortium members and seeks to ensure that they run as seamlessly and efficiently as possible. This includes processing membership and Members Only site access requests, updating data, processing invoices, and assisting with any other questions along the way. Additionally she performs website maintenance as well as meeting and conference coordination.

Kim joined ATI as the Senior Program Assistant for the Medical and Information Management Division, specifically MTEC. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Studies with a minor in Psychology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Bio:
Heather has worked in the government contracting industry since 2005 ranging from homeland security to aerospace to nuclear remediation, supporting DoD, DOE, and commercial customers. She has served as a key member of the Costpoint implementation team at two employers, both transitioning from GCS Premier to Costpoint. She spearheaded the implementation of a more robust payroll software solution when conversion was necessary due to rapid growth. She also implemented a training program for Program Management to use the tools needed to help manage projects and track costs more accurately.

Ms. Garrett is a Sr. Financial Analyst for Advanced Technology International (ATI). Her responsibilities include development, oversight and analysis of financial data for ATI’s Medical and Information Management Division (MIM) division. In this capacity she is primarily responsible for the development of the division annual operating plan, tracking and forecasting program monthly financial results and expenditures, interpretation and analysis of financial performance, and reporting on program and division financial health.
Ms. Garrett has over twenty years’ experience in financial management and analysis. She is a graduate of Winthrop College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, and certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute in 2004.
