Abstract

Embodiments are described herein for systems and methods for receiving a notification from a first computing device, the notification indicative of a first modification to one or more first components associated with a first data processing operation of a plurality of data processing operations being performed by the first computing device, where the first data processing operation is configured to apply one or more first datasets to a first function, and where the one or more first components define the first function. The systems and methods may further include identifying one or more parameters associated with the one or more first components, the first data operation, or both, identifying a second plurality of data processing operations being performed by the second computing device based on the one or more parameters, and modifying a second data processing operation of the second plurality of data processing operations based on the first modification.

Core Innovation

An enterprise auditing system performs auditing data processing operations by receiving a notification of a first modification to one or more first components associated with a first data processing operation. The first data processing operation applies one or more first datasets to a first function, and the one or more first components define the first function. A second computing device receives the notification and uses the first modification to identify one or more parameters and a second plurality of data processing operations performed by the second computing device based on the one or more parameters.

The system modifies a second data processing operation of the second plurality based on the first modification. The system displays one or more first visual markers associated with the second plurality of data processing operations to a user, wherein the one or more first visual markers are indicative of the second data processing operation, a parameter associated with the second data processing operation, or both. The system receives one or more inputs at the one or more visual markers from the user and generates one or more recommendations to modify the second data processing operation based on the one or more parameters and the first modification in response to receiving the one or more inputs.

The system uses machine learning to detect synonyms, misspellings, and correlated tag names, and to store and update correlations in a database. The machine learning functionality verifies changes by determining whether output changes exceed a threshold, and applies a verification based on that threshold-based output change condition. The visual user-in-the-loop review uses the displayed visual markers to support user input that affects the generated recommendations.

Claims Coverage

The partial content explicitly identifies three independent claim sets—system, method, and non-transitory computer-readable medium—each sharing the same core inventive structure with three main inventive features: receiving notification and identifying parameters, identifying and modifying a second plurality, and displaying visual markers with user input and recommendations.

Notification-driven parameter identification and second-operation selection

Receiving a notification from a first computing device indicative of a first modification to one or more first components associated with a first data processing operation, and identifying one or more parameters associated with the one or more first components, the first data processing operation, or both.

Parameter-based identification of a second plurality and modification based on the first modification

Identifying a second plurality of data processing operations being performed by a second computing device based on the one or more parameters, and modifying a second data processing operation of the second plurality based on the first modification.

User-in-the-loop visual markers and recommendation generation

Displaying one or more first visual markers associated with the second plurality of data processing operations to a user, wherein the one or more first visual markers are indicative of the second data processing operation, a parameter associated with the second data processing operation, or both; receiving one or more inputs at the one or more first visual markers from the user; and generating one or more recommendations to modify the second data processing operation based on the parameter of the one or more parameters and the first modification in response to receiving the one or more inputs.

Across the independent claim sets, the invention is centered on notification of a modification to components defining a first function, parameter identification that enables selection of related operations on a second computing device, modification of those second operations based on the first modification, and a user-in-the-loop workflow using visual markers and user-provided inputs to generate recommendations for further modification.
