Abstract
A system for display and interaction includes an interface and a processor. The interface is configured to receive data from one or more sensors. The processor is configured to convert the data to a common synthetic data space; provide the common synthetic data space for display; receive a command associated with an object represented in the common synthetic data space; and cause display of an icon indicating a command has been issued.
Core Innovation
The invention relates to an interactive virtual interface system for user display and interaction. The system receives data from one or more sensors and converts the received data to a common synthetic data space for display, including representing objects within that synthetic space.
The system receives a command associated with an object represented in the common synthetic data space and issues the command to a real-world moveable asset represented in the same synthetic data space. The command directs the asset to carry out an action associated with the object, and the processor determines whether the real-world moveable asset has responded to the command.
If the processor determines that the real-world moveable asset has not responded to the command, the processor causes display in the synthetic data space of an issuance time of the command. The display reflects command issuance when response is not detected, maintaining a user-visible relationship between the synthetic interaction and the real-world asset behavior.
Claims Coverage
The document contains three independent claim forms: a system, a method, and a computer program product. Across these independent claims, there are three main inventive functional features.
Converting sensor data to a common synthetic data space for display
Convert the data to a common synthetic data space and provide the common synthetic data space for display, including representing objects within that synthetic space.
Issuing object-associated commands to a real-world moveable asset represented in the synthetic space
Receive a command associated with an object represented in the common synthetic data space and issue the command to a real-world moveable asset, wherein the asset is represented in the common synthetic data space, and wherein the command directs the asset to carry out an action associated with the object.
Displaying issuance time when the real-world moveable asset has not responded
Determine whether the real-world moveable asset has responded to the command; and in response to a determination that the real-world moveable asset has not responded to the command, cause display in the synthetic data space of an issuance time of the command.
All independent claim forms share the same core coverage: sensor data is converted to a common synthetic data space for display, user commands tied to represented objects are issued to real-world moveable assets represented in the synthetic data space, and when the asset does not respond, the synthetic display shows the issuance time of the command.
