Abstract

There are provided systems and methods for automatic data entry for form data structures using application programming interfaces. An entity, such as company or business, may want to onboard with a service provider that provides services to the entity, such as those associated with business credit, expense management, and the like. When onboarding, data entry to one or more digital form fields and structures may be required. In order to automate form filling based on data from disparate sources, the service provider may provide an external application programming interface (API) that receives API calls and converts and/or formats data for the fields and data structures of the digital form. The data entered to the fields and/or corresponding data structure may be stored in a specific database and tables as data structures retrievable for the digital form. When a referral token is received, the data may be retrieved.

The invention is directed to a service provider system that performs onboarding of an entity using a digital form that is automatically completed. The system receives an API call from a partner service provider server via an onboarding application programming interface (API) and includes organizational data for an entity loaded to the partner service provider server. The organizational data is converted, using the onboarding API, to one or more data structures that are handled by an onboarding application to complete the digital form for onboarding the entity with the service provider system.

The system automatically fills the digital form for the entity using the one or more data structures, and generates an accessible form data structure for the digital form. The accessible form data structure is stored with an entity identifier, where the entity identifier enables retrieval and transmission of the accessible form data structure by at least the entity. The system transmits an electronic communication associated with the digital form to a digital address for the entity.

In embodiments, the system supports receiving organizational data that includes account data required for the onboarding application, and determining the account data from one or more documents used to form the entity. The conversion includes parsing a digital representation of the documents to identify at least a portion of the account data, and then converting the organizational data into the one or more data structures. The automatically filling can be performed by pre-filling using a machine learning model based on the entity organizational data, and determining additional parts of the digital form required by the entity.
