Abstract
Provided is a pest control composition containing a novel iminopyridine derivative and other pest control agents.Provided is a pest control composition containing an iminopyridine derivative represented by the following Formula (I) and at least one of other pest control agents:[in the formula (I), Ar represents a 5- to 6-membered heterocycle which may be substituted, A represents a heterocycle having a 5- to 10-membered unsaturated bond including one or more nitrogen atoms, and has an imino group substituted with an R group at a position adjacent to the nitrogen atom present on the cycle, Y represents hydrogen, halogen and the like, and R represents any one of groups represented by the following Formulae (a) to (e), (y) or (z)].
Core Innovation
The invention relates to novel iminopyridine derivatives of Formula (I) and related compounds and tautomers, including specific iminopyridine derivatives such as N-[1-((6-chloropyridin-3-yl)methyl)pyridin-2(1H)-ylidene]-2,2,2-trifluoroacetamide, N-[1-((6-chloropyridin-3-yl)methyl)pyridin-2(1H)-ylidene]-2,2,2-trifluoroethanethioamide, and N-[1-((6-chloropyridin-3-yl)methyl)pyridin-2(1H)-ylidene]-2,2,2-trifluoro-N′-isopropylacetimidamide. The disclosure includes acid addition salts of Formula (I), including hydrochloride, nitrate, sulfate, phosphate, and acetate, and further embodiments expressed as Formula (II), Formula (III), Formula (IV), Formula (V), and Formula (VI) with substituent variants and R-group combinations.
The invention further provides pest control compositions in which the iminopyridine derivative is combined with at least one other pest control agent, including insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, and animal-parasitic control agents. The compositions define mixed composition concentration ranges in which the active ingredients are typically 0.1 to 80 wt%, and the patent content lists representative partner agrochemicals and formulation/carrier categories.
In addition, the document describes a pest-control rationale for treating pests and protecting useful plants or animals from pests. The target pests include insect and animal-parasitic categories, and the disclosure includes representative pest species such as cabbage moths, Spodoptera litura, aphids, planthoppers, leafhoppers, thrips, Frankliniella occidentalis, Laodelphax striatella, Aphis gossypii, Plutella xylostella, Chilo suppressalis, Callosobruchus chinensis, and Haemaphysalis longicornis.
Claims Coverage
Two independent claims are identified. The claim coverage centers on combining a specified iminopyridine derivative or its acid addition salts with selected pest control agents, with both components required to fall within a 0.1 to 80% by weight range.
Iminopyridine derivative combined with an insecticide in a 0.1–80 wt% range
A pest control composition comprising at least one iminopyridine derivative selected from N-[1-((6-chloropyridin-3-yl)methyl)pyridin-2(1H)-ylidene]-2,2,2-trifluoroacetamide and acid addition salts thereof, and at least one insecticide selected from imidacloprid, dinotefuran, flometoquin, and agriculturally and/or zootechnically acceptable acid addition salts thereof, wherein the at least one iminopyridine derivative and the at least one insecticide are present in a range from 0.1 to 80% by weight.
Iminopyridine derivative combined with an animal-parasitic pest control agent in a 0.1–80 wt% range
A pest control composition comprising at least one iminopyridine derivative selected from N-[1-((6-chloropyridin-3-yl)methyl)pyridin-2(1H)-ylidene]-2,2,2-trifluoroacetamide and acid addition salts thereof, and at least one other pest control agent that is a control agent for animal parasitic pests selected from imidacloprid, dinotefuran, and agriculturally and/or zootechnically acceptable acid addition salts thereof, wherein the at least one iminopyridine derivative and the control agent for animal parasitic pests are present in a range from 0.1 to 80% by weight.
The independent claims are directed to pest control compositions that include the specified iminopyridine derivative or acid addition salts together with either selected insecticides or a selected animal-parasitic control agent, with both components required to fall within a 0.1 to 80 wt% range.
