Saftra Photonics is a Slovak high-tech company established as a spin-off from P.J. Safarik University in 2014. The company specializes in research and development in photonics and biomedical fields, focusing on detection technologies for pollutants in various industries. Their mission is to develop high-quality, environmentally friendly nanotechnologies, notably the PickMol™ system, which enables rapid, on-site detection of chemical contaminants in food, water, and other samples.
