Placement of undergraduates into faculty-sponsored wet-lab or computational research projects with defined hourly commitments and required progress reporting.

Proteomics and functional genomics course instruction

Undergraduate coursework covering protein biochemistry, proteomics workflows, mass spectrometry concepts, functional genomics and associated data analysis; includes student presentations and take-home exams.

Seminar and presentation workshops

Seminar-format courses that train students in preparing abstracts, scientific presentations, posters and participation as discussants; includes peer and instructor critique and formal grading rubrics.
