News & Updates

Numerous lectures at the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) congress in April 2025 in Vienna will showcase the broad application possibilities of Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) platforms like DISQVER® for infection diagnostics, capable of identifying over 16,000 microbes in a single sample.

The World Health Organization's recent report highlights DISQVER® as the only commercially available NGS platform approved for clinical use in diagnosing invasive fungal diseases (IFDs), emphasizing its significance in infectious disease diagnostics.

The DigiSep study, which investigates the benefits of digital pathogen diagnostics like DISQVER® for sepsis and septic shock patients, has been completed and its promising results have been submitted to the German Federal Joint Committee (G-BA) for further evaluation.
