Mission BioCapital is an early-stage venture capital firm that invests in life sciences companies, with a stated emphasis on novel therapeutics and opportunistic investments in medtech and diagnostics. The firm combines capital with access to shared lab space, incubation partners, discovery service providers, and strategic mentorship. It operates offices in Cambridge, MA and San Francisco, CA and runs the Mission BioCapital Platinum Program to provide pre-seed funding, incubator bench space and services to launch early-stage biotech companies.

Services
Pre-seed and early-stage capital (Platinum Program)
Pre-seed capital provided to awardees of the Platinum Program; award amounts up to $500,000 per winner, provided as an uncapped SAFE (terms individually negotiable).
Guaranteed laboratory bench and incubator access
A guaranteed lab bench in one of Mission BioCapital’s affiliated incubators across its network (U.S. and Europe); rent is negotiated separately with the incubator and is not included in the award.
Drug discovery services (preferred service sponsors)
Access to drug discovery and antibody discovery services through partners Alloy Therapeutics and HitGen, provided as equity-for-services or sponsored services to Platinum Program winners.
Legal advising and company formation support (Goodwin)
Legal advisory services focused on company formation, corporate governance, contract review and common startup legal needs; includes a minimum advisory allocation, free incorporation & filing (excluding fees), fee discounts and initial free billable hours for selected winners.
Financial and operational advisory (van den Boom & Associates)
Guidance to develop and implement scalable financial and G&A operations including payroll, accounts payable, financial reporting, investor reporting, modeling and diligence support.
Strategic scientific and business mentorship
Mentorship and business development guidance from Mission BioCapital partners and corporate sponsors including Lilly, Ono Venture Investment, Alloy Therapeutics and HitGen, plus access to the wider MBC corporate network.
