Developer of antimicrobial dental materials based on quaternary ammonium silane chemistry. The group formulates antimicrobial agents that can be covalently linked to polymerizable silane backbones and incorporated into dental materials (e.g., cavity cleansers, acrylics, adhesives, sealants). Activities shown on the site include in vitro and in vivo testing, randomized clinical trials, regulatory 510(k) submissions and at least one FDA-cleared dental cavity cleanser.
