European Animal Cell Technology Industrial
ACTIP is an independent non-profit association of European companies and institutions engaged in the industrial use of advanced cell technology for research, development, and production of biopharmaceuticals, vaccines, and other therapeutic approaches. Its mission is to connect experts, facilitate networking, and promote advancements in the field of advanced cell technology to increase European competitiveness. ACTIP organizes scientific meetings, supports early career scientists through fellowships, and provides a platform for industry, academia, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to collaborate and share knowledge.

During the Dublin meeting in October 2023, Dr. Jochen Sieck was appointed as the new ACTIP Chairman, succeeding Matthieu Stettler.
The association rebranded to better reflect the broad range of cell technologies applied in biotech industry.
