Ecraid

Ecraid is a purpose-driven, people-centred European clinical research alliance dedicated to reducing the impact of infectious diseases through a long-term, sustainable, and innovative clinical research network. It aims to improve diagnostics, prevention, and treatment strategies, respond effectively to infectious disease threats, and accelerate the development of new interventions. Building on the foundations of EU-funded projects like COMBACTE and PREPARE, Ecraid operates a 'warm-base' network of over 1,250 clinical sites across 43 countries, offering rapid, high-quality, and cost-efficient clinical trials and research services. It collaborates with academia, industry, and government to enhance pandemic preparedness, combat antimicrobial resistance, and address emerging infectious diseases.
