Centro De Investigaciones Toxicologicas

Buenos Aires-based laboratory and consultancy (operating since 1972) providing accredited environmental and toxicological analytical services across Argentina. Core activities include field sampling, accredited laboratory testing of air, water, soil and waste, bioanalysis for toxicology and exposure assessment, analytical method development and validation, and technical consulting for industry and government. Maintains an ISO/IEC 17025-aligned quality system and participates in national and international proficiency testing. Maintains an extensive annex of analytes and matrix-specific analytical methods mapped to EPA, NIOSH, ASTM and SW-846 protocols for air, gaseous emissions and liquid matrices.

Services

Environmental analytical laboratory testing

Accredited laboratory analyses of water, wastewater, soil, sediments, air and waste matrices for metals, anions and organic contaminants using chromatographic and spectrometric techniques and standardized EPA/SM/NIOSH methods.

Field sampling and monitoring (air, water, soil, surfaces)

On-site sampling services including stack/isokinetic emissions sampling, ambient air monitoring, groundwater and surface water sampling, soil/residue sampling and surface (wipe) sampling with chain-of-custody, sample preservation and calibrated equipment; integrated field-to-lab workflows following established methodologies.

Toxicology and clinical sample analysis

Bioanalytical testing of blood, urine, hair and stool for metals (including mercury), solvent metabolites, drugs of abuse and clinical biomarkers; support for blinded biomonitoring studies and use of certified reference materials.

Environmental consulting, impact assessment and risk evaluation

Technical consultancy, preparation of environmental impact statements, risk assessments, remediation criteria and project reports integrating sampling, analysis and modelling for infrastructure and industrial projects.

Analytical method development, validation and technical research
