Center for the Development of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology

CEDENNA is a Chilean multidisciplinary research centre in nanoscience and nanotechnology. It performs applied R&D, prototype development and technology translation across magnetic nanostructures, computational materials simulation, nanobiomedicine, packaging and food-safety materials, sensors, environmental remediation and renewable-energy materials. The centre hosts multiple research groups, a portfolio of specialised laboratories and shared instrumentation for fabrication and characterization, operates an accredited nanosecurity unit for bioassays of nanomaterials, and supports technology transfer and industry collaboration through an affiliated business portal and open-lab partnerships.
