BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute is dedicated to saving and transforming children’s lives through discovery, innovation, and excellence. It conducts leading-edge health research to help kids reach their full potential, with a focus on various research themes including childhood diseases, brain, behaviour & development, evidence to innovation, and healthy starts. The institute supports research through general and clinical research support, facilities, core technologies, and training opportunities. It is home to over 1,200 researchers, with many being healthcare professionals providing care at BC Children’s Hospital.
