Biosciences Research & Commercialization Center of Western Michigan University Research Foundation
The Biosciences Research & Commercialization Center (BRCC) provides startup and gap funding to promising Michigan-based life sciences and medical device ventures entering the commercialization phase of development. Established in 2003 by the Michigan Legislature, the BRCC is located on Western Michigan University’s Parkview Campus, leveraging Kalamazoo’s rich heritage in scientific talent and pharmaceutical commercialization expertise. The center focuses on life sciences, aiming to foster economic development and return on investment through early development to commercialization phase support.
