What We Do
Connecticut Innovations offers flexible financing capital for every stage of business development, including specific funds like the ClimateTech Fund, Future Fund, and Connecticut Bioscience Innovation Fund.
In addition to funding, Connecticut Innovations provides strategic support to its portfolio companies, helping them grow and succeed in their respective industries.
Gem’s sourcing platform is free for CI portfolio companies through the company’s Free for Startups (FFS) program. Companies can take advantage of FFS for up to two years if they have fewer than 15 employees, raised less than $5 million in funding, and were incorporated less than 3 years ago.
CI portfolio companies that use Gem qualify for special access to an advanced feature set called Cross-Domain Project Sharing. CDPS enables CI portfolio companies, in partnership with CI, to build a database of qualified candidates throughout Connecticut’s talent community.
