Sponsored by MTEC, the Pitch & Pour Start-Up Competition at The MedTech Conference 2025 takes place Sunday, October 5, 2025, in San Diego. Fifteen selected start-ups will pitch live in front of investors, strategics, and other key decision-makers during a dynamic happy hour experience. Each company gets 8 minutes total—a 5-minute pitch followed by 3 minutes of Q&A—to make their case.
One winner will receive the full prize package:

- $10,000 cash prize courtesy of MTEC
Eligibility to apply:
- Raised less than $10M since inception
- Offer a military-focused application in medtech, diagnostics, digital health, or imaging
- Available for an in-person pitch on October 5
