What is the Poster Session?
The Poster Session invites attendees to display scientific posters that highlight innovations in platelet biology, platelet-like products, and related translational medical technologies.
How do I sign up to present a poster?
When completing your meeting registration, indicate your intent to present a poster. MTEC staff will follow up with setup details, timing, and logistical guidance.
Who can present?
All registered attendees, including MTEC members, government participants, researchers, and industry partners, are invited to present.
What topics should my poster cover?
We encourage posters that present content that aligns with the agenda of the meeting. Please refer to the posted agenda to determine our areas of interest.
What are the size and setup requirements for posters?
Maximum Size: 2 feet × 3 feet (horizontal or vertical orientation)
Display Equipment: MTEC will have a limited amount of easels. Presenters are encouraged to bring their own easel or stand.
Power: Not available
Tables: Not available
Setup/Removal: Presenters are responsible for producing, shipping, and receiving all materials
What content should be included in my poster?
Each poster should include:
- Organization Overview: Who you are and what you do
- Technology or Research Description: Scientific focus and relevance to meeting themes
- Past Accomplishments: Data collected or milestones achieved to date
- Next Steps: Upcoming goals or key development stages
- Relevance to DoD and BARDA: How your technology meets military and national preparedness needs
Can I include company branding or marketing content?
Logos and acknowledgments are acceptable, but posters should emphasize scientific content, not commercial promotion or sales material.
