Roles & Responsibilities:

His responsibilities include negotiating and overseeing ATI prime contracts, which total over 2 billion dollars. Many of these contracts are complex, involving various government agencies, industries, and universities. Several of the programs are Other Transactions that deal with sophisticated federal regulations and cost sharing arrangements.

In addition, he is responsible for organizing, training, and overseeing the department’s nineteen contract management personnel in the administration of the company’s 180 million dollar annual spend in subcontract and procurement awards in compliance with federal procurement standards.

Bio:

Mr. Savoie is Vice President of Contracts for ATI. He has over twenty nine years’ experience in federal contract management and procurement. He is responsible for business operations for ATI including contract and grant management, proposal support, budget and revenue plans, business development, and marketing support.

Prior to joining the ATI, Mr. Savoie served for 22 years in the in the United States Air Force and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. During his Air Force career, Mr. Savoie held numerous contract management positions, with experience supporting base operations, weapon system acquisition, and in-theater contingency contracting supporting US and coalition combat forces. He has held four positions designated as a critical acquisition position, including command of two Air Force contracting squadrons and one Defense Contract Management Agency contract management office.

Mr. Savoie received an Master of Science in Contract Management from the Air Force Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the United States Air Force Academy. He is Level III certified in the Defense Acquisition Professional Development Program.
