Nanomedic

Nanomedic Technologies Ltd. is an Israeli bio-medical therapeutics technology company specializing in the development and manufacturing of its innovative Spincare System platform for advanced wound treatment. Founded in 2018 as a spinoff of Nicast, the company focuses on Portable Electrospinning technology to create skin-like nanofibrous matrices that promote wound healing and tissue regeneration. The company aims to change paradigms in wound care, envisioning artificial skin 3D printing directly on patients’ wounds. The Spincare system was first marketed in Q3-2020 and is distributed in over 40 countries. The company has developed a portable, handheld device that uses electrospinning technology to print nanofiber matrices directly onto wounds, providing a personalized, in situ treatment. It has received CE marking and is in process with the FDA for approval. The system offers advantages such as better adherence, protection against infection, flexibility, transparency, and the ability to treat complex geometries, including facial wounds and areas requiring mobility. Future plans include embedding cellular treatments and additives for complex wounds, burns, and chronic conditions.

Products

Portable in-situ electrospinning wound treatment system

A handheld, battery-capable system that fabricates a transparent, conformable nanofibrous polymer matrix directly onto wound surfaces to act as a temporary epidermal layer for superficial and partial-thickness wounds, donor-site wounds and chronic wounds; designed as a platform for interchangeable formulation ampoules including cell- or drug-compatible solutions.

Services

On-site clinical deployment and training for point-of-care electrospinning systems

On-site training and clinical support for hospital and clinic customers implementing bedside electrospinning workflows, including device handling, application procedures and early adoption support.

Clinical research collaborations and study support

Collaboration with medical centers to design and run observational and randomized clinical studies evaluating in-situ electrospun matrices for burns, donor-site wounds and hard-to-heal wounds, including protocol development and data generation for regulatory submissions.
