CASCADE BIOSYSTEMS
Cascade Biosystems, Inc. was founded in 2008 by Kenneth Smith and Mariya Smit with the mission to provide easy-to-use and affordable point of care diagnostic tools. They developed a DNA testing technology called Restrictase Cascade Exponential Amplification (RCEA), which enables highly sensitive, accurate, and portable DNA test kits for detecting DNA or RNA targets in bacteria, viruses, or genetic markers across humans, plants, and animals.
