Spotlight Webinar: Conducting Field Research at the Uniformed Services University

Participants will become familiar with the various field research being conducted by the Department of Military and Emergency Medicine at the Uniformed Services University as a part of the Military Unique Curriculum.

This research involves high-fidelity field simulations such as Operation Bushmaster, Operation Gunpowder, and the Advanced Combat Medical Experience (ACME). We also conduct field research at USU’s Val G. Hemming Simulation Center, which possesses the capability to simulating the operational environment.

These field research experiences are potential avenues for research collaborations exploring new medical technology that will prepare and equip military medical health professionals to care for the warfighter in complex and uncertain future landscapes of war.
